Rear DVD Video™ Entertainment System

Journey’s available rear DVD entertainment features auxiliary input jacks, a remote control and two wireless headsets - turning second row seating into a first-class experience. Your favourite movies and video games come to life on the crystal-clear 8-in. LCD screen, as stereo sound pumps through the onboard speakers or wireless headsets for miles of mobile entertainment.

Automatic Temperature Control
Enjoy all season comfort inside Journey with available automatic temperature control. With an intelligent “set and forget” design, the system will automatically maintain your desired interior temperature setting. Dual-zone temperature control is available on five-passenger models, and tri-zone for second and third rows is available on seven-passenger* models.

UConnect™
For safety and security's sake - and ultimate convenience - opt for the available* UConnect™ hands-free system that lets you keep your hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road. This exclusive in-vehicle communications system connects with your Bluetooth®-compatible phone. Using a microphone hidden in the rear-view mirror, UConnect places and receives calls from your voice commands, routing them through the vehicle’s system - it even mutes the stereo to make or receive a call.

Journey SE includes a standard 2.4L DOHC 16-valve Dual VVT I-4 engine. This efficient engine features Variable Valve Timing (VVT) providing low emissions, peak power and torque with smooth idle and low-speed operation, and is combined with a four speed automatic transmission

3.5L V6
For performance coupled with excellent fuel efficiency a 3.5L SOHC V6 with a 6-speed automatic transmission with Auto/Stick™. Standard on Journey SXT and Journey R/T.

Air Bag Protection
All Journey models feature standard next-generation multistage driver and front passenger air bags,* front seat-mounted side air bags,* and side-impact inflatable curtain air bags for all three rows* - that’s six air bags of protection total!

Additionally, an Occupant-Restraint Controller (ORC) deploys air bags as required. The two-stage output also helps the air bag system protect against air bag-induced injuries to small, unbelted or out-of-position occupants.

*Always use seat belts. Children 12 and under should always be in a back seat correctly using an infant or child restraint system, or the seat belt properly positioned, dependent on the child’s age and weight.

Antilock Braking
Journey’s standard four-wheel disc Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) with Brake Assist, helps prevent wheel lockup for shorter stopping distances and improved control under extreme braking or slippery conditions. Brake Assist helps the average driver overcome a common tendency to not apply the brakes hard enough or quick enough during an emergency stop by using the Electronic Stability Control to instantly apply the maximum available pressure to the brakes.

Trailer Sway Control (TSC)
Think of it as Journey control. When pulling a trailer, the TSC system helps you to maintain vehicle and trailer stability by continuously monitoring the driver’s intended path vs. steering wheel input and recognizing the unique vehicle motion associated with trailer sway. Once the system’s yaw sensor recognizes a swaying motion, individual brake pressure is automatically applied to eliminate it, helping to bring the vehicle and trailer back under driver control.

Five-or Seven-Passenger Seating
Dodge Journey maximizes seating flexibility and cargo capability with standard seating for five or optional seating for seven. Second and optional 50/50-split third row seats recline for added comfort or fold flat for added cargo space when not in use. Plus, third row access is easy thanks to one hand, one motion operation of the second row stadium Tip ‘n Slide™ seat. No matter where your travels take you, Journey can easily trade cargo space for passenger space - right when you need it.

Tilt/Telescoping Steering Column
Every Journey model lets you tailor your ride with a standard manual tilt and telescoping steering column. The column telescopes in or out about 1 inch and up or down 2 inches, to help you find your optimal steering position.

Second-Row In-Floor Storage
Journey's storage innovation never seems to end. In the second row, two standard in-floor storage bins are specially-designed to store up to a dozen 355 ml beverage cans plus ice, or to help keep other items out of sight. The bins also feature latching lids for added convenience.

Activity Centre
For added storage and convenience, the centre seatback in the second row folds forward revealing two cup holders, plus a temporary storage bin for small items.
