The frame of the Ram 1500 was made using high-intensity steel, which enhances the overall durability and stiffness of the truck. The Ram 1500 comes with a 5.7-liter, eight-cylinder engine that enables the pickup to tow up to 12,750 pounds or carry a 2,300 payload.

Instead of being powered by a conventional alternator, the engine derives power from the 48-volt battery-powered generator. The engine provides up to 395 horsepower. But the truck has a fuel rating of 17 miles per gallon in town and 22 miles per gallon on the highway.
